I wonder if any inspection hatches were open.  Even if not, this CAN'T be good for the electronics for any of these 3 jets.  I'd be interested to see which one took what damage etc.  

It happened at Eglin AFB and apparently a welders spark set it off.

the canopy on the A-10 is open, whether it was open before or after the foam was dispensed is hard to tell.  This type of thing isn't unheard of.  When I was stationed at Luke in the early 90's we had a jet inthe fuel barn with fuel cells open and the foam went off.  There were people in the hanger at the time....thought it was kind of funny.

      Flashing back to Morristown a few years back.  The foam system was set off by spraying a wash during a helo wash on an unshielded contact
switch for the foan system.  Yes, there were people inside..they all got out ok.  The foam climbed 30 foot to the hangar roof <good design> then
managed to short out the deadman switch for the hangar doors allowing the foam to spread across the ramp.

     And no, this isn't snow <some local yokels apparently thought we had a very very localized blizzard at the time :D>

At Eglin very. They use those 3 models for testing new ords. So they tinker with fittings and stuff for the new ords to match the existing planes.

Only thing i dont get is that the 15 has a base tag from Nellis.  :uhoh

Also look at the left wing of the 15 some of the metal has been taken off.

yep, F15 wing panels off, canopy removed and Starboard Rudder removed. Must be some work going on there.

I was at a base where a Titan ICBM blew up cause someone dropped a tool and the nuke was flung out the tube into the farmers field.
