No, all it would do is encourage 1-5 guys to take 262s, uncover the map at a very fast rate so it wouldn't be a problem again until after reset. Considering everyone knows what the maps look like, I'll bet someone would design a route that would hit everything in the shortest possible time.

seriously we can't go one serious conversation with out a attack on us

and everyone has done that no matter what group your in the numbers don't always make sense where they are

and for you information DALLAS yeah hes one of our good leaders and i would take him loki dogfite gazoo razz jarbo or any other of our cammad staff running a mission than almost anyone in game shoot i'll even take some of our lower member i could honestly say that of any squad out there find one who has more people who can run a competent mission done right and that more people are willing to follow you all hate on us so much cause you know we work well together

give reaper his props on a great idea leave the v jokes out of it take them to the whinners forum (200)

Debrody means no harm.  It's just Hungarian humor.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Actually I'm one not for this method. I believe that you should uncover the airfields as your plane advances.

Ex. Somebody sends a plane (whatever it is) and moves into enemy territory, each sector they go through that sector is unlock and the airfields, vbases, city, or HQ becomes visible on the map.

This would make people more eager to go behind lines and stop hoarding airfields.

i actually like this idea ^^

but the thing is this command would still be nice for your own bases on your own country often its allert *** and you have no clue if that base in half a sector to 10 sectors away some times

Me and 15 other people could do better than you guys, and thats with almost a year off of Aces High for me. Really, the ONE area where you, or any of your "cammad staff", are better than me is at coordinating the timing of different groups.

Hell, I remember one of your missions where you just tried to swarm the town under cover of an aerial horde. Yeah, cause thats a well-planned, intellegent, and difficult mission. I'm sure I never could have come up with such a brillant, and succesfull mission....... oh wait, I landed something like 12 v-kills with my trusty tank.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

oh man this function would not encourage hording.  it would just make it a different way to find an enemy base.

look at it this way.

vdallas calls our for an all out attack on a32 as he's heading there.

so you type now .goto vdallas.  and it will take you to the field he took off from as he normally takes off from the closet field. and up and head to the base to attack.

with .find 32 as an example wont be any different than above.  it will just make it easier for when somebody calls out let's get a32 and we all know how standardized the base numbering is.   a32 could be right next to a1.

You really don't need a find command, just ask your flight leader what sector it is in.

To me this is just another one of those wishes that say "lets make the game easier!" (because I'm too lazy to do it the way it should be done). Its a war game, commanders don't yell out "go to A23! and bomb the crap out of it"

They SHOULD say ...."We will launch from A22 in sector 12.3.3, climb out at max climb to the NE on a heading of 050. When we hit angels 7 (7,000 feet) we will level off turning to a heading of 110 to proceed to A23 in sector 12.4.7. I will assign targets once we level out, Stay tuned, OUT"

Again, it's the difference between a "gamer" and a "simmer".

I fully support this wish, and I not a "horder", heck, I'm not even a basegrabber, defending bases the overhwelming majority of my time.
It's just that many base names are being laid out in a less than logical manner on many maps. So often I find myself trying to find a base that just came up as "SYSTEM: A24 has been captured by XXX", which can be tedious on large maps because A24 can be right between A178 and V3, with A23 and P25 being several sectors away.
Or "NOE A12". Of course I can ask on country, but very often it takes along time to get an answer, not at least becasue the caller might already have his hands full fighting on the deck.

This wish is as 'gamey' 'lame' and 'helping the hordelings' as .move, .goto or alt-x are.
But no matter what, as it's coming from a 'vtard' it must be rejected as a tool of evil  :lol
