Everyone has a chance to be in a squad. All you have to do is contact a CO, XO, or group leader.

There are multiple posts on the boards saying just that.

Ooooohhhhhhh bringing this one back?!?! I might have to invest in some new hardware, joystick and throttle, and get my account set back up. Flew in the last one as part of the Mighty 8th in B-17's and had an absolute blast!!! This might be worth getting back in the game for!!

Go back to the top and read what ROC said.  There is a lot more going on then just the event in October.  Lots of prep, history and silliness.   That's why folks are getting involved now.  You can wait, but you'll miss half the fun.

Noir....get in there!  PM the leaders of either side and let them know your intentions.

Historical fighter groups on both sides need pilots.  You are missing the fun we are having behind the scenes.

I couldn't think of 4CMs better then ROC, Brooke, Fencer, or Guppy to create such early excitement and fun.
(well...I could prolly find another at least equal to Fencer...but that's another story for another day..hmmm....I may be be setting the bar low)  :rofl

In any case I don't like that PM system for registration. Its not very fair to the newcomers or anyone not ready (or not able) to lobby just to get the spot in the squad he wants.

And It makes the automated registration useless.

I don't find teamspeak meetings at 2am very exciting.

End of the whine. We'll contact the CO's when we know what we'll do.

Needless to say you can't please everyone.  Not sure what Teamspeak meetings you are talking about?

Poor "FENCER" there is always a bunch of chainlink between his posts. :D

Great pics.  It was good fun then.  It's gonna be better fun in the Fall :)

So about that B17? :)

Why don't you wander around the Allied Forum and see which bomb group appeals to you :)
