All Scenario's should be handled this way.  DGS II is already a blast...and we haven't even spun wood yet.

Well, now that you know this one is being handled quite a bit different than has been done in a few years, and it's not being done to penalize anyone but to actually promote and encourage, want a 410 slot??

I was confused at first too.  Until ROC explained the thoughts behind this approach, and I got into the side forum and seen he has pron playing on the ready room big screen 24/7.

Hopefully Registration fills up before it even opens.  These guys can always add more airplanes.

Now I see the problem.  You think this comment above is actually a bad thing.

It isn't

You are under the impression that I can or will try to please everyone.

Quite frankly, registration isn't open yet. People took their own liberty to PM the COs requesting spots after the setup was announced. The CM team isn't getting rid of the registration system. Everyone gets equal opportunity to fly in these events as it is being advertised all over the forum.

People who want to get involved will get involved.

Also understand that both teams are working their tails off recruiting and doing all kinds of things to make this both fun and interesting.  And Im talking about more then just the team CO/XO combos.  GLs have been working hard to fill slots and many of the folks involved as pilots are offering their time to contribute to the build up and the history going into this thing.

It's not expected but sure appreciated and encouraged  :aok

Bounty Board

Fencer, also Allied CO 5 Sheep
Delirium 3 Sheep
Hajo 3 Sheep
Nefarious 4 Sheep
Redtail7 2 Sheep
Waystin2 1 Sheep (And that just because of the restraining order)
SF 2 Sheep
Shuffler 3 Sheep
68Falcon 12 Sheep
Viper61 2 Sheep
AkKuya 24 Sheep (He's heading off to a mission so he needs a flock)
Jordi 2 Camels (Been gone a while, forgot what the sheep look like, he'll never notice)
CorkyJr ....err...well, we are just going to let him go.  He'll crash on landing so we're good.
Earl1937 2 Sheep

I feel so special that I have the highest bounty on the elite list of pilots.  Now, you're gonna make the other pilots jealous or  :noid.

Noir......we have a spot in the 56th if you want it.  You're always welcome along side our bunch you know that.

Just PM me.  If you'd rather fly Axis my good friend Stampf is leading JG/11.

No finer group then the gents of JG/11.  I'm sure he'd also roll out the red carpet for you!

To ROCs point when I was gruppe lead (III/54) and Axis XO during Battle Over Germany it was pretty time intensive. The recruiting, attempts at training, then as XO for all of the walk-on assignments, trying to fit requests, etc. The simple game for me was running 5+ hours per scenario of just administrative work attempting to and make it fun times for all. It was a pain but well worth it, which leads to my 50/50 response now. As busy as it is I know to do it right it will be more then showing up 30 minutes before they close the arena. And with as much lead time before this one kicks off a proper gruppe/squad and Axis/Allied leader is going to spend much time training his crew as opposed to wracking up kills in the MA. And my time commitment was minimal compared to those 6-8 sticks who really pulled off BOG.

These events don't just happen, and much kudos to those who make it look easy. <S>
