Reading Airshow..
« on: May 24, 2012, 05:39:27 PM »
Anyone else going to the Reading Airshow next weekend?? Taking my son to go see FI-FI the last flying B29.
Will be taking tons of pics and will try to post some of the better ones. Hoping that the Lancaster they were saying might show up is there , that would be awsome to see that!

Have a daughter graduating high school that Saturday so that locks me into Sunday. If the weather is nice, I'm in.

I've been a half dozen times as well. Graduations certainly screw up more trips though. This year I have 2 graduations to go to so it isn't going to work out for me this year.

MAAM puts on a great show and has a LOT of warbirds. Not just the one or two you see at other shows, but closer to 20, and they all take a turn in the air show. Stage shows, battle reenactments, guest speakers and some great food all long side one of the biggest WWII flea markets you can see. It's a great time for anyone into WWII history even the littlest bit.

.....oh and yes REDBULL it's at the Reading, PA airport.
