Was listening to channel one out of the corner of my ear last night and it seemed like a concenses was being built to try some kind of vote people out of the game scheme.
Are we so enamoured with the public officials we get that we want to duplicate that in our leasure hours?

This has GOT to be a joke.

This isn't anything but a benevolent dictatorship, and it's a damn good thing too.

I am sure that I will be amongst the first to go. The females will band together to vote out the alpha male.

In ancient Greece, once a year the Athenians would vote on which citizen they would like to see banned (they coined the term ostricised) for life from Athens. You didn't have to do anything wrong in particular, you were just the least desireable. This kept the citizenry self conscience over their conduct within the community.  Not that bad of an idea, but.................

Well, what happened was that the most known citizens would get banned because people simply knew their name. This is what happened to Themistoklis. He saved Athens from the Persians and then gets banned for life. The citizenry felt that since they owed him such a great debt, he got too big for his britches hehehehehehe   So they booted him.
