Many new terrains on the way
« on: May 31, 2012, 11:06:06 PM »
I just wanted to let our AvA community know that we are hard at work on many, many new terrains specifically made for AvA use.  In the last month or two, we have released & used WW1front, AvAslot & our newest AvAsea.  We have plenty more in-progress.  This will be a special year in the AvA as we expand our horizons like never before!  So be on the lookout for new battlefields as fast as we can get em out (without skimping on quality).

That's a pity. Those 250 field maps are just ridiculous, with NO country ever even much of
anything beyond the enemy's "center".
Having tried playing with the map editor a couple of times and coming to the conclusion
it is WAY beyond my intellectual level and patience, I quickly gave it up.
You map-makers have my sincere thanks and appreciation for the time and effort
put into making Aces High more enjoyable for the rest of us.

Regards, Odd

Great work dude!  Why doesn't Hitech update the terrain page to include these?  Always glad to hear that your hard work is being rewarded through the tough approval process, but  :headscratch: the ball gets dropped on the download page.  I would sure love to be able to download and use these maps.

What do you see is the problem here?

Chilli, no problem man. all you have to do is create a custom arena with the terrain you want and it will DL to your hard drive. All the new terrains will be on the custom server.

The Download page is so 2009.

The Spartans do not enquire how many the enemy are but where they are.

I like "realism" as much as the next guy, but I'm havin' a tough enough time seein' that wulf
in the snapshot. I can't imagine how tough it's gonna be to see when it's movin'. ;)

With the no-enemy-icons setting, movement is usually the first way I spot an enemy aeroplane.

But there's no doubt those are good camo schemes for that terrain.  Excellent work (yet again) Ranger.
