Test drove a porsche 911 for the first time today

As other's have said, you only live once .  One thing to consider though, if this is your dream car, it's going to kill you to drive it daily and slowly watch it go down hill.  If you can afford it, or before you buy this car, buy yourself a good daily driver to drive on the bad days, and when it's going to be sitting in parking lots.  I'd go crazy worrying if I had to drive one of my vettes every day (what if it hails, what if it gets hit, what if joe joe the idiot boy parks next to it and nails my door, etc.).

I spend 3 - 10 hours a day behind the wheel. This is my only motivation for getting a performance car (comfortable one).
