Well, it ended 4:0...... Spain is the strongest Team in this tournament
That will teach me to have any form of optimism at all.  :frown:

I fear we will go the way of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, never qualifying for anything and getting slaughtered if we do.

Until my nephew gets into the senior team!  ;)

LOL  :rofl :aok

As to soccer not being brutal... Broke my leg earlier this year in a game... Took a slide tackle from the side, his studs hit the outside of my knee and pushed it inward next thing i felt was a crack. Then someone else fell on top of me and compounded the issue. I didnt even think of getting up I went straight into shock. Turns out the tendon tore a piece of bone off my tibia. Worst pain Ive ever expierenced in my life.

You can get hurt in every sport. Heck my brother broke his ankle playing badminton! Soccer is a non contact sport plain and simple.

What position did you play? What age level? If you have never played, then you can't comment.

Soccer does have contact, but not on the levels of Football, hockey, or even basketball.

Don't get me wrong, I love watching soccer(Go Chelsea and BVB) but Joachim is right. You can get hurt doing almost anything.

this must be an american comment

Soccer is a full contact sport, if not, you have no defense and you're lost!!!

I can watch it and tell you it's not a contact sport. People are not looking to hit people full speed like in other sports
