guitar song game
« on: June 10, 2012, 12:28:11 PM »
so i was thinkin this may work for the forums. simple you place a song with a great guitar piece and the next contestant throws in another as a trump card. artists can be used more than once but not songs. :aok

example id put:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ9nQNx0KEs "into the night" by Santana feat Chad Kroeger in for Santana's guitar piece and another would trump that with say a jimi hendrix piece.

with that ill leave Into the Night as the first and its up to you to go from there!

The game is won if no one replies within 12 hours of the last post.

Buckethead doing "seige engine"

That said, you can't go wrong with any song from "fair warning" which might be the high point of Eddie's amazing rhythm playing and hook writing..............if it's even possible to ignore the amazing soloing.

 I won! WOOOT! Hope ya'll listened to the videos. Steve's got a new album out with Mike Portnoy called Flying Colors, but any new Deep Purple, or the Dixie Dregs, Or Liquid Tension Experiment or Dream Theater for John will grab you and hold on. Two great guitarists. But yeah Slowhand playing the blues will always be fantastic...he's no slouch. Love music, love great talent...was supposed to be a musician...but oh well. I can recognize the best.

Instead of some famous stuff, i present you this old song you surely havent heard about:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKy0zTDxLrU         twin solo from 1:55

Pokolgép: Újra születnék.
Guitars: Kukovecz Gábor, Nagyfi László; Kalapács József singing.           1987. And the power metal was born.

Also an old favourite: Helloween: Halloween
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQGwRsMorLI
Kai Hansen, Michael Weikath on guitars, Marcus Grosskopf on bass, 19 years old Michael Kiske singing
