It was not the ultra Sherman.  It was basically an armored artillery piece.  Not a Tank v Tank gun.

WW2 ultra Sherman was probably the M4A3E8, but that's not much more then the Firefly or the M4A376

Super Sherman was a 1950s design, didn't serve in ww2.

   Huh?  Guppy was refering to the 105mm howitzer that yours mounted.  Howitzers are low velocity high angle guns, not tank killers for the
most part.

the jumbo sherman would be interesting tho. Only a few was made, i know...
Excellent armor (better than the panther) but a very weak gun, definiately a strange combo.
