ahfilm keeps crashing!

I have a good number of films saved of some awesome fights, but almost half of them I can't even view! When trying to open the film I just get a message saying "ahfilm has stopped responding" and then the program closes down. I get this problem with old films, new films, long, short, everything; it's just happens on any random film. I even get this issue with a film I just saved 2 minutes ago!

I want to watch these films and learn from my or my opponents mistakes, but I can't even watch them anymore. 

Did the films not save correctly? Or did they become corrupted somehow when opening them for the first time? Is this problem fixable?

some people seem to have issues with the film viewer, others, like me no problems at all. If I did have an issue, I'd save my setting folder and then download and install a fresh version of the game. Maybe a file in the viewer got corrupted. It about the only thing you can do.

I have had occasional crashes like that in the past but just now changed my video card and almost every film is crashing.  Some make it through a few minutes and always crash at the same point.  Some crash when the film being edited reaches the end as it's being saved.  And others will crash at startup.

The game plays great at 59fps with no stuttering or anything, but the film viewer makes films choppy like a slide show at times.  Yesterday, I reloaded the game from scratch (and installed my old saved settings, sounds, etc) and the issue persists.

I think there is a problem with it.  I emailed HTC about it... If I rename the "world" file in settings, my film viewer works fine, otherwise it crashes often.

Folks, check your in-game video settings, especially if you are running with shadows enabled.  The film viewer is going to use up more video resources as it is run in a Windowed mode and it is not going to be friendly when resources run out.

Disable shadows and see if that helps, or at least, improves the situation.

Turning shadows off made no difference for me.  Film Viewer still crashes unless I remove the "world" file in the settings folder.

That is what I need to know.  Just trying to find a common thread.  We have not been able to duplicate this problem.
