Atlanta Class CL
« on: June 20, 2012, 01:25:11 AM »
You wants more puffy ack!?!?

How about the Atlanta Class light cruiser,  I was thinking they could be a support ship on the heavy task groups.  I know everyone hates puffy ack.

It is armed with 16x 5in cannons, 8x 40mm cannons, for more information on the ship:

More Puffy Ack? No. :O I can almost walk on the stuff that is put up now...okay, okay, skip... but still.

Actually this wouldn't be a bad idea IF we could separate the Task Group into independent Divisions and Squadrons operated by a handful of players- especially in the Heavy task groups where Two Cruisers are present.
The main problem I see with this is Water Space on Maps, because having 3 elements of a Task group rather than just one main element could make for some crowded waters on some current maps. Still, that being said doing so would make the CV more strategically important and with the Atlanta Class added slightly more challenging even when going for the cruiser...

Yes there is a Huge learning curve in flying. It starts on Take off and ends on the glide slope for landing. In short The grade arc is the difference you take between being in the sky or in a mountainside.

With is gun compliment its very formidable. It's kinda like the 5-ton Gun truck. It's intimidating to say the least.
