Really, the only thing truely impressive about doing it in a spitfire is the gunnery required. Of course, something like an A6M2 would be even more impressive for the gunnery. Hell, even a 109 sans gondies would require better gunnery.

That does include not aiming for m3s, storch's or C47s btw

I should of not landed my I-16 tonight, I had 6 kills but only took half a tank of gas still had 80 cannon rounds and could easily of landed 10.

I'd love to see midway pull off 11 kills in a P40, ALT cap of 8k in a furball no rearms.

I mean its a spitfire. Its probably the most docile and one of the most forgiving aircraft in the game.

Forgiving? I have snapped the wings off many spits, and I have yet to do so in a 109.

Also the spit has a WAY nastier stall then a 109, 109's don't flop upside down and spin all the way to the ground.

Never had a stall in a spit that wasn't easily recoverable. And the spit seems more stable up to the point of stall, even if its stall is a bit more violent. It counts for some.

Again, not saying that its not a good accomplishment, just that its not any more impressive than landing 10 kills in a Ki-61, or a Yak, or a 109.
