Prediction....
« on: July 01, 2012, 08:25:49 PM »
This is just a guess, but I think we will have our latest update with the Ju-87/ Me410/ other assorted goodies/fixes on either Tuesday July 3 or Thurs July 5...... seems like the perfect time considering a lot off people will have off around those days  :noid

I really hope it releases this week, too.

I don't think it'll happen on the 3rd, 4th or 5th.  3rd is used for getting stuff together for the 4th. :)  4th will involve drinking and BBQing with some celebrating of one's country, by blowing up a piece of it. :D  5th will be recovery from the 4th.  So likely the update will be next week.  Best hope is tomorrow, the 2nd; with the second hope being the 6th.

Wow I find it hard to believe it has been almost 38 days since our last path. We should have release another 38 versions by now  :bhead

If HTC is going to shut down for the 4th, isn't it in our best interests to release it on the 5th or 9th to be fully staffed and prepaired to fix any bugs we will find in the release? When is the last time any of your companies released a prodect at a holiday and forced the support staff to work through it? Yes Hitech and Pyro are the support, but, in this case will Mrs Hitech and Mrs Pyro consent to allowing their husbands to pull a boner like this and screw a family holiday?

When is the last time any of you had your head 100% in the game and ready to pull all nighters a day before a holiday? Debuging for traditional kinds of code interaction problems with our plethora of different PC and Laptops takes time with the myrad of DXDiags and other error captures we send in during the first week of a new version.

Let alone Skuzzy having to read and decide which rule to apply to the usual "Your (F)uppd new release screwed my game play" PO'd post, whines and greivence mongering that the game is broken and this release show cases it to the world.

Let them have a holiday.

As awesome as running into the office to fix an unforseen problem on the 4th of July sounds for HTC employees, I hope they release it next week, it's gonna be a busy (fun) holiday.

Just lending him glasses to see through the myopia of unintended consiquences.

Somehow I always thought people with the title Staff were supposd to act in that function in favor of the entity they were priveleged to represent.

But, then not all staff remain benign or salutary to the host entity with at least 3 major variaties. They might even make good squad names for their agressive relationship to human beings.

Aureus - The source of simple food poisoning and nausia unrelated to social media. Though it rips through the weak, young and geriatric like an ace with a tater. In some cases lethal no matter the treatment if the Host is weak enough, young enough or geratric enough. Kind of like hot sticks harvesting baby seals in the MA.

Epidermidis - The source of surgical infections and resistant to most anitbiotics these days. A real killer to be wary of in any medical arena at all times by everyone. Try to live up to that as a squad name.........

Lugdunensis - The source of blood infections in hospitols and confused with the more tame Aureus. Don't worry this one is treatable after the hip replacement or pacemaker procedure when all heck blows up inside of you. Good name for a squad of geriatrics who want to be underestimated for their years and seeming infirmities of mind. Geritol anyone....Hows about those french cut Depends with the lacy velcro straps......dern now I need me pills and Nursey.

BTW just my own insight. So, it's not a matter if I'm wrong or right, it's just a guess.

But as usual, comments welcome or else I wouldn't be posting lol.

people who have some time off work and are looking forward to using some of it to play Aces High always love it when the servers go down for patches and hotfixes during that time
