i dont think this is about fighting entirely i would like to see it on the bombers
some times you take off with alot of fuel you don't need and i wouldn't mind be able to dump some to increase my speed when a emergency call comes out and your trying to get there quickly and no longer need the fuel

None of the bombers we have in game had the ability to dump fuel.

Seems to me fairly simple.  If they didn't have the capability, they shouldn't have it in game.

Wiley.
If you think you are having a 1v1 in the Main Arena, your SA has failed you.

I don't know about the other bombers, but the Ju-88 A4 had the ability to dump fuel from the fuselage tanks ("Schnellablass").

Speaking of fuel....

Can we have fuel transfers? In planes that had them?

Ie, a fuel tank gets shot and starts leaking but you can pump that fuel to another tank manually. Maybe simulated the manual transfer by having to tap a key repeatedly?
B 17s had them so i am thinking mainly bombers would have them titian

I don't know much that much about the B-17, but knowing that most German bombers had the ability it would make me wonder if US bombers did not have the ability.  :headscratch:

One thing I found:

Quote
“What was really concerning me was the high octane gasoline we still had aboard. A couple of weeks before, a B-17 in our squadron crash-landed and exploded because of the gas aboard,” he said. “I told the pilot and we began dumping our extra fuel over the channel.”

Why do you think the B-17 was able to dump fuel?

Based on my knowledge of the Fortress gained while flying the airplane for two years I can assure you the B-17 did NOT have the ability to dump fuel in flight.  Sheesh, you can't even transfer fuel between tanks in the same wing, you have to first move the fuel to the opposite wing then back to where you wanted it in the beginning.

What about an inflight fuel dump valve?  Could be "shift D" for on & off.

Would come in useful to go lighter in fighters or for bombers looking to lighten up the load.
