The much ado seems to be much ado due to the OP trying to push up his post count.  JMO.  If he quit posting these threads would already be off the first page.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I agree with the map suggestion. Some better laid out smaller maps would really enhance game play I believe.

I've started a terrain for this very reason and it is coming along nicely.  Actually enjoying it and I will say the TE is nowhere near as difficult to use as people make out.

Nice to see if you take a 5 year break that when you come back people still argue about the way others play in the MA.

Last time I checked, we were all playing the same game here.

Per OPs question on removing everything he mentioned: It will never happen. Although natural people gripe about it, they need to come to terms that they need to adapt and accept that this is a common occurrence in the MA. Its that type of jungle that draws most of the crowd to play there. The wonderful thing is once you start playing for a while, You can be great at guessing what the opponent's thinking and what they are looking to do. Sometimes even their flying styles and guess who it is.  Once you have anticipated the situation, you are better prepared to deal with all of the above, and get better each time. Although I admit that learning by making a ton of mistakes is not always the fun way, progress is the only positive reinforcement to motivate you, just know it takes time.

You are never going to win every single time, lets admit that the game would be boring then. Winning what ever situation you are in is just a bonus that feeds our addiction and keeps us logging in over and over again what ever aspect of the game you play. When you lose, put on your big boy pants, wipe the snot off your nose (had to borrow that one :aok) and consider it as contributing to the other player's addiction.

I beg to ask the OP if this thread has anyting to do with the common theme the boards have had lately of the conspiracy theory that veteran pilots/elitists/anti-horde showing great disdain to mission planners and want you "play their game" Again...this has been going on for years and years. Every generation of players tends to grow typical "Cattle Herders" where some Generalisimo has risen through the ranks and has a knack to lead several players to victory. Of course during their reign of invincablity, these followers roll maps and think they have developed new tactics and broken new ground which will crush the elitist empire only to find out in given time that they wear out, get bored and move on to other things. As I said before..though not everyone takes  the same path,  this is the most common route players take the longer they play.

Think of it this way. Map rollers/landgrabbers/ mission planners  are just as guilty as the furballers/anti-horde players when it comes "playing my way" mentality. I have seen many many times gripes that a certain GV spawns/ tank towns on maps are gathering places for a good number of players to where they are purposly captured because the landgrabbers feel that they  tie up resources. and more people will be prone to join my mission if that wasnt available to them. Same thing goes with hiding CVs off the map. A great number of players DO USE them for what they are intended for.

My game is to shoot red things. I have a never ending, all you can eat buffet of targets. Play my way and we will never have that low pony with a full bomb loadout to come take down hangers to take down my base or bombers coming in to sink a CV or even a reason for you to venture off into enemy territory. Would make for a very boring game.

Limiting options would make the game boring and too predictable.

Sandbox environment is best.  I'm not even sure I like the language filters.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Many people's gameplay is based on exploiting holes in the game and not much else.
