No the purpose of the rank system is to allow a higher ranked individual to dictate what the CV does, or what it does not do.

If it were not meant to work that way then it would't. If it is perceived to be impolite or somehow uncouth then that is the problem of the individual who thinks in that manner, not mine or my squads.

Not at all, but apparently a KN member having control of the CV gives anybody else carte blanche to squeak on 200 or the BBs when we dont play their way. I dont understand the complaints from those who would rather use CVs to mount some stealth mission or hide it in the corner of the map. How can you take a person who avoids combat seriously? If they want the CVs so friggin bad, they should up their score. You dont see any of us complain when we can't get a carrier, we'll just go furball elsewhere.

I had this argument years back - Started like this:

"Has control of CV"
"Player A comes in with lower rank and takes command to hide the cv"
"uhhh why are you hiding it? put it in combat"
"Player A: Waaaah"

CV gets sunk 10 minutes later
"Player A: noob must of told someone to get it sunk"
"Me: Fat chance, in a 262 intercepting the buffs over your CV handsomehunk".

Thus is when I stopped giving a crap about rank and realized people are idiots - who cares what who does with a CV? Enjoy the game, eat a popsicle, get shotdown by your CO during FSO

Clearly if you have someone of high enough rank in your midst that no one else can take control of a CV then you can control any CV you wish and therefor would have no reason to complain right?

Correct me if i am wrong but the term "tard" was used way back in AW when anyone acted in an inappropriate fashion with game play. The problem the game/bbs has now is we can no longer call out the tards for acting tardlike because we may offend them and be sanctioned. The real world has crept into our little slice of the net and ruined it. The PC police has now taken over here too. HTC wanted it now they have it... enjoy.  Remember folks there will always be someone who is offended by your actions somewhere. So unless chat and vox is completely removed be prepared to be offended at some point in game... you cant legislate decency.
