Me410 but no Beaufighter??

Me410 is nice, but didn't serve a heck of a lot in WWII.  Beaufighter did the whole war!!  What do the HiTech guys have against this aircraft?

Classic developers trick. If the players vote happens to be what the devs already decided, everyone are happy. If not, the developers continue with their decision and file the players choice for minor consideration sometime in the future.

 Elections have consequences. If you did not vote you can't complain and you end up with the ME-410. Next time there is a vote show up and and cast your ballot for your choice. Bring a like minded friend to vote with you. Then maybe you will end up with what you wanted. I did not vote for the 410 I was a Yak-3 guy.

No offence but based on your history on what planes you have requested to be added to the game during these years, the game would be filled with Western Allies' equipment with maybe one silly messerschmitt and maybe a zero for them to shoot down.

As far as history goes, it's not the Western Allies' planeset that is the most lacking. I suggest you take a look at the planeset of the USSR.

Not really. They did not commit to building whatever was elected as first priority. It is a good thing for a developer to do since there is little to loose and it pleases the players either way. They really do like to know what the players want even if it is a minor consideration for them - and for the better.

The problem with players vote is like with real democracy - anyone can vote, even if he is completely clueless, devoted less than 5 seconds to the decision and voted for the guy in the prettier suit.

He has nothing to do with it, the community overwhelmingly voted for two aircraft in a user poll.  One we have, the other is nearly upon us.... and your beloved Beau I think was included in it but didn't survive round 1...

We have run an in-game poll over the past couple of weeks asking people what plane they would most like to see added to the flight sim game in order to help us plan future development.  The results are in and we have a winner- the B-29 Superfortress!
