I sure don't see that happening. Although they sure did mess up the rear end this last go round.
They've made bigger mistakes...

Ick, maybe they'll rename that car the Probe.   :devil

The probe was supposed to replace the mustang.  And in many ways was a better and sportier car.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Yassir .. the designers seem to think we all want cars influenced by rice burners or wannabe's.

I'll take mine straight up retro with stylying features that scream the Marque loud and clear mk thx.

None of this 'Is that a new Datsun?' crap.

Imagine a Forum getting bent out of shape over a car concept that has aboslutely nothing to do with the Mustang?

Those pictures are of the 2015 EVOs coupe.....

Here are the 2015 Mustang photos....

As far as the Aston Martin/Ford thing.    It is very apparent that none of you understand the work of J Mays...

That hideous piece of eurotrash in the first post actually looks better than the 2015 one linked above.

As a lifelong fan of the Mustang, Ford is really starting to turn me off with the changes of this current and the proposed next models. I don't care how many horses they can squeeze under the hood- I wouldn't buy any of them, they look horrible.

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Easy tiger. As a life long Mustang fan you must LOVE the current itteration as is traws from it's classic heritage. The next Mustang continues to draw on it's classic heritage, in a lower, wider way. There are no bigger Mustang enthusiasts than those that wrok on the Mustang program at Ford. by all accounts, they LOVE the new car.

Be patient....

..and please refrain from disparaging posts and images about the brand if your truly a fan.  :salute

The current Mustangs look like they put a Running Pony on a rejected design for another M3.

I like the looks, but it just doesn't strike me as a Mustang.

ON ONE OF the ford forums, i think i'd read something about them deciding that it's time to move forward, with a new design, rather than trying to keep the old cues in the design.
it's not a bad looking car, but the interior would have to be top notch, and performance would have to be out of this world for me to consider that.

Really? the current car looks like, and was inspired by the 1970 Fastback. Perhaps BMW copied the Mustang when it designed it's M3.  :aok

The current mustang styling is based on the Aston V8 vantage of over a decade ago because it looks cool.

The V8 vantage styling was based on the early mustang fastbacks because it looks cool.

We have come full circle.

Maybe ford should finally realize that the mustang will sell regardless of it's looks as long as they are fast and easily modded for more speed.

They sure sold a lot of the generation that looks like a scaled up 1990 toyota celica and it seems as out of place in the mustang timeline as the mustang II.

As long as ford keeps some bit of similarity to the original theme, then it should look fine for generations to come.

i tend to think it looks more like a 67/68 fastback.

The currently produced Mustang owes its heritage to the 1969 Fastback, according to Ford.

that would make it the same as a 70. 69/70's only had minor styling changes.
