Welp...  You almost get it.  Gymnastics is competitive dance and is an activity.  Drag racing is a sport.  I bet you look super kewl in your tutu.

How is this dancing?

All it takes is reaction time for drag racing, in Gymnastics you use every muscle in your body. Also, I would honestly like to know what sports you have competed in.

Since when do you question authority?  These are the rules.  Activities measured by scoring, timed or measured in feet and yards (definitely not meters) by absolute means are sports.

Where did you obtain this definition?

Is Boxing a sport? Based off your definition it is not.

Do away with the bell and the judges and boxing is a sport.  As it stands it's no more a sport than competitive cheerleading.

So street fighting is a sport but boxing is not?

Fake how?  Your definition is less rooted in reality.  Is skateboarding a sport?

Yes, in the same way Snowboarding and Skiing is a sport.

Timed skiing and downhill racing as well as ski jump is a sport.  Snowboard tricks are not a sport.

I never defined sport.

As for skateboarding sure why not. Who cares?  Anything can be a sport that requires using the human body as an athletic tool, and competing versus others.

If you have to defend your sport as being a sport, it might not be a sport, sport.

Not none, but not much either. From what folks say though, I have very good reaction times. I normally just watch my buddy do it.

This takes skill to launch well and get a good time, not everyone can do it.

I've never ridden a motorcycle, but I can easily assume a car is exponentially easier.
