The 8th Air Force has been tasked with hitting Rook targets. We will strike a Medium Airfield, a Small Airfield, and a Vehicle Base.

Launch Country : Knight
Target Country  : Rook
Launch Time     : 9PM EST/ 8PM CST

The Mission has been moved up one hour to get more players into the Mission and for some to fly against.  Announcements will be made on 200 channel to allow Rooks to organize a defense with intel on selected targets and force strength.  This is done so we will have a fight and not a milkrun.

All Mission details are located here http://stevesscifishootout.forumsland.com/index.php?mforum=stevesscifishootout.  Register and post your plane preference in General Information.

B-17
B-24
P-38J
P-38L
P-47D-25
P-47N
P-51B
P-51D

All types of players welcome.  Newbies also.  Thise who want to take a leadership role for vacant slots, post that intention also.  This will be an active event for enthusiasts in 8th AF vs Luftwaffe.
:airplane: Would love to bring the guys along on this, but, we are not "side switchers", so when you have missions into Knights or Bishops, count us 30 guys in! I guess we are a "funny" bunch, but we fly strictly American aircraft, at least 99% of the time. No offense, some of us lost family members to both Japanese and Germans during war, so we are more comfortable flying American aircraft.

Its not a requirement to fly, if you don't want to fly with or against us its your decision  :salute

Are you Rook players then?

Next month in August, the 8th AF Missions will be hosted in Rookland for missions against the Knights and Bishops.  Knights will be 1st, 3rd, and 5th weeks.

It's Monday.  Let's get many players interested in the Thursday missions while you're flying in the MA's.

Give them promises of Fresh, Clean Sheep and booze of all kinds.  That should do the trick. :D
