I'm not. Considering the way that some participants have decided to make a mockery of the event, I wouldn't blame BE one bit if he decided to quietly back away from the spotlight.

I've heard rumors of some organization that duels all year long. It even has a ladder made of blood and tears, all while being devoid of the taint of whine if said rumors are true. Maybe if we could locate these mysterious individuals, we could all join in and have a grand time of it!

I understand his frustrations as with others - but some bad apples shouldn't spoil it for the rest.

this is true, however it's a different set up from BE. His was a bracket with a preset plane. The ladder you are referring to is one where someone has to make a challenge to another...the latest challenge I got I haven't been even been able to find him for a month now...

I would love to do the dueling bracket, but one specific problem is really keeping me not interested in doing it - same problem i've seen since it started with someone not wanting to fight and going to random draw.

but I don't find it low.... 50 would be low....203 fights that were not interrupted by some tard in the MA....sounds very awesome to me

I have enjoyed my inaugural season in the DFC.  I get my   to me on a regular basis,yet I have had some of the best fights I have ever had, against sticks I rarely get to fight in the MA. The only issue I have seen is that it is summer and with that schedules can be a little hectic, but it still gets done.

The last bracket should have started in May/June. 

Near the end of the last tournament there was a thread started that I felt was a personal attack against me.  Since I volunteered my time and effort to run those tournaments after 12-13 hour days at work I just didn't need to be mocked for it.  As much as that the community seemed to think it was all pretty funny and joined the party.  IIRC Sunsfan was the only one who stood up for me in that thread.  You'll notice at the end of the last tournament I clammed up posting as little as I possibly had to and have since curtailed my participation in the BBs.  I didn't and don't need to give these people more amunition to use against me and decided then that it was the end.

Beyond that Ink started a competing ladder, participation had dropped off and the tournament seemed to have run it's course.  I've thought about bringing it back but haven't decided if it's worth being abused over.
