It's a man's world, or at least it still is in Japan.
Some of you older guys know that I've lived in Japan for 20 years. I'm rarely surprised by anything I see or read here anymore, but every once in a while something makes me laugh.
The Japanese National Women's Soccer Team are the defending world champions. They just flew to London for the Olympics and were on the same flight as the Japanese Men's Soccer Team, who have never won a thing.
The old guys who run the Japan Olympic Committee bought the men's team Business Class seats. The World Champion women were given Economy class seats.
(I wouldn't be surprised if they made the women wear tight little skirts and serve the men tea, also, but I didn't see that mentioned anywhere...
