I think like lots of jokes, it depends on how close to home it hits you. On the one hand, the joke seems funny to me as long as I don't think about it too much. But I know a bunch of people in that particular business, and suddenly it's really not funny at all. I guess talking to co-workers who need to talk about the things they've done and seen, but can't because it would either end their career or get them thrown in jail, gives a different perspective on the subject. PTSD and the RPA (UAV, whatever) business is a really dark corner of the world right now. So there is a small but growing population that probably would have thought it was pretty funny a short time ago, who now probably wouldn't complain about the joke but who also don't think there is anything funny about it because they're living the reality behind the joke.
