My –small - wish list
« on: July 23, 2012, 11:40:44 AM »

1 Siren for Stuka

2 Statistic's of how many wars BISH, rooks and nits have manage to won in the end of each tour

3 Time refuel variation for each aircraft according to its specific fuel internal or external capacity (its 30 sec for all aircraft now on re-arm pad)

4 3D clouds

5 Fly-by view mode during f3 mode in MA (for bombers) or for all aircrafts in DA plus in recorded film (every other decent sim has a fly-by view mode)

And 6 a possible improved special Arena where special features can be tested like a more complex engine management, new damage model, upgrade or revised  flight model (that will prevent stick-stiring that is killing the game) and no auto-prevent software. That is if your engine temperature exceeds the normal one because of extensive use of WEP, simply you loose your engine rather than what is happening now where the auto-prevent over heating software takes control.
I think its time to give credits to a careful pilot that he is respectful about his engine (running smoothly). As is now, u just move full forward your throttle and then you just forget about it, same when you use WEP. My opinion this is not the way its should be.

Again excuse my poor syntax and grammar.

We have the wrong versions of Ju87 for the siren to be on them.

correct me if I am wrong, wasn't only the early version of the Stukas that had the Sirens? I know most were removed after poland/france - can't recall specifically.

The D-3 was the first model out of the factory without the sirens.

Why did armies bang drums and blow horns on their way to the battlefield? To strike terror in their enemy before they engaged in battle.

Wouldn't it have been more terrifying if they just replaced the siren with fake battleship cannon sounds?

"Ohhh maaah godddd that plane has a giant bleeping cannon!"

Was the B model that had the siren. Mostly used in the invasion of Poland.
Other than just the terror factor, the sirens had no use. Since day 1 of my AH addiction, I can never figure out why HTC has never had the siren model as an option AND made the siren heard as a default game sound. Imagine how even awsome it would be in game to be part of a huge mission diving down on a feild. Even as a defender, I would welcome a horde just to see it.

My thoughts that the D model was put in for the ordanance ( big daddy option ). The B model was a bit slower and I believe it could only carry a 500 lber and some would think it would just be rendered a hangar queen.
My wish is that it should be added (with the default game sound) just for the iconic aspect.

Not that you are serious...the sound system and power to drive that (or the like) would have to be carried in an adjacent goon.  They did not have the technology to reproduce "fake battleship cannon sounds" in the quality and depth to do that.  :lol

The siren was smaller and eerily effective.
