Actually, it was that good, especially for its long run.  There was a reason hundreds of people were spending hundreds of dollars per month to play the predecessor of a game that we get to enjoy for only $15 per month.

It was the birthing grounds of those who feed the Gerbils at HTC and tell us tales of items we will receive in two weeks.
Superior really can't be used to describe it in comparson one way or the other. They are of different times and AH would be nothing without AW, but AW was going away, and AH stepped in to fill the void. (that is a very generalized version of said story)

It's almost a parent and child story. Many who grew up in AW are here now that is has passed on.
