By far the best policy of any AH Squadron, gentlemen, the FDB's rules of Chute shooting:
 

                   Chute shooting, Head-oning and Ditching: As these three
                    issues are hot-potatoes in Aces High, the founders of FDB feel
                    it necessary to issue rules to squad members regarding them.
                    No member of FDB may shoot an opponent's chute unless they
                    suspect him of whining at least once in his present or any
                    former life. No member of FDB may head on an opponent
                    unless the urge strikes them. No member of FDB may kill an
                    opponent who is trying to ditch unless they are struck with the
                    inspiration to do so. No member of FDB may ditch his plane
                    unless he has to urinate really, really bad. Anyone who
                    suspects an FDB member to be falsifying claims of bladder
                    fullness to escape death by ditching should stop to consider
                    how much alcohol must be consumed by said member to
                    comply with the squad's blood alcohol requirement.

I dont really care a great deal either way. Sometimes i think, thanks for getting me out of the silk faster, and sometimes, you f**kin A-Hole!!

It *is* disrespectfull, and all the BS about 'its just a game' etc doesnt cut it cause they are icons representing real people to destroy it is disrepectfull to the person that the icon represents. Its like burning a countries flag and saying 'aww come on, its just a piece of material'. It may physically be a peice of material, but it is an icon of something alot more than that.

But i will shoot suspected spying chutes. If i leave high-alt chutes, i know they cant replane for a while   suits me fine.

Guys!.....just why do you think the .303's are an option for some planes. With 1500 rounds you can get a 15 chute kill sortie and still have enough ammo for squirrel shootin'

I love the sanctimonious drivel about not shooting a chute and then saying "but I will shoot spies!". You guys are a hoot.  

If there's enemy about, then dropping low to kill you in silk isn't in my cards. Ifluff'n there's no enemy and I'm already low, best pull as low as you dare - it's just jabo target practice for me and a chance to piss off the dweebs. The ones with their panties unbunched don't care and understand they are just back in the fight faster.

A bail has no effect on this statistic.  If you bail, and any pilot that damaged you is still alive (or has not rtb'd to tower), he will be awarded the kill and it will show accordingly in pilot vs plane stats.

The only thing a bail affects is your points for the sortie... that is if you're going to just die anyways.
