Russian KV-2 Heavy Artillery Tank
« on: August 01, 2012, 03:08:16 PM »
Whats not to like? Heavy armor! 152mm assault gun! Range of 13,500 yards! Armor 110mm. Slow though at 16mph.

On the upside it would also make the KV-1 a possibility.

Wish... wish... wish.  :aok

Every noob tanker's dream:

1) slow
2) MASSIVE side target profile
3) essentially incapable of retaliation at long-ish range.

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

It will take someone that really knows what they are doing to survive in this tank. If it gets spotted it cannot go anywhere. It has such a large profile that even a near miss will be a hit. However it has the ability to standoff and take down SBs and entire towns with ease (given that it has resupply).

Noobs will steer clear of this tank and for good reason.

IDK about that. It would almost certianly be among the easiest tanks to beat in a fight. I would almost go so far as to say it would probably be even less feared than the M4(75). Noobs would probably try to swarm the things, each hoping to be the one that gets the easy kill.
