No dar bar until viz

 Often times I do not get a dar bar until I see a dot . It happens under various circumstances . Happened last night while flying with squaddies .

It happens to me a lot...in any arena. I was at 10k, just over a sector from my base; enemy darbar didn't pop up until I saw the dot of the plane which was 2k or so higher than me.

Having encountered the same problems on and off for a long time now, but (coincidentally?) much more since last versions. Had several instances of B-24s appearing 8-10k over a CV I was defending without ANY previous darbar, not even in the adjacent sectors.
Just an hour ago, a teammate reported bombers at 5k in the middle of a sector, with no darbar showing to me either.

A few of us have noticed it too.

We've also noticed that different people have seen different dar bars, if any at all, in the same sector, at the same time.

I heard the me163 at 35,000 feet before any dar bar showed up.

It's been going on for some time.

And it's different for each player too.  Sometimes while flying with my squad someone will call out a sector counter that nobody else can see.  Sometimes when flying in a sector with no red sector counter we will run into enemy planes at altitude.

BarDar = Maybe but it used to = absolute.

could be deliberately inconsistent tho.. its been around for so long now, maybe it is intentional.

Given Hitech's repeatedly voiced disdain for random effects, it would be quite suprising to have such a very much random effect with at times significant impact built into the game without any notification or explanation. :)
