It can apply to any reflective surface.  As its name suggests, the surface reflects the environment around it.  A glossy paint job can do it too.  If you look closely, you might find a pie in the reflection. :)

Which skins are good with this feature as I dont load all the skins in? :old:

I am not sure there is a "default" environment map for any skin that does not have one specifically applied by the skinner.

You can set the resolution to anything your monitor and video card will support.  HD is a range of video resolutions up to, and including, 1920x1080 resolution.

Nothing really special about it.
