I am going to say this as politly as possible. "There is no humor in your post." These people put there lives on the line for this country and they deserve better than a post like this. I served as a CT with a similar mission(1966-1972). I can imagine what these people are going through. I monitored the crew of the "Pueblo" AGER-2 that were captured and taken to Wanson Harbor in North Korea. Your probably to young to understand!

Things can be said about people who quote themselces even though its the first time they say it..

I wasnt poking fun at the crew..i was making fun of the Chinese fighter pilot..the fact that he died is sad and all BUT based on reports he always did this kind of stupid crap and it finally bit him in the ass...i feel bad the the crew of the EP-3 had to participate in it and I hope they get back soon, but i have no rspect or compassion for that pilot that rammed them....dead or alive...him being a total moron caused his own death..which is fair..but now he has caused an international incident.

EDIT: You also have to remember the pains of the people in a small village in China who are mourning the loss of their Idiot.

You have to think of what you're saying here. No one 'deserves' to die, even if they are acting dangerously.

Example: On this past Monday night, a car with four kids from my town crashed at 100mph into another car coming from the opposite direction at 50mph. 6 people were killed, 3 of whom I knew.

They were being irresponsible and reckless, but did they deserve to die?

It is tragic that a life has been lost, but nothing can justify that. We've played this game with the Russians and you bet F-15s were harrassing those Bears. I live on Otis ANGB and there are pictures all over town of our Eagles as close as 30yds away from the tail of the Russian bomber. (this is an estimate, but most likely pretty close) Finally, an accident does happen - I don't personally agree with how the Chinese have acted in this situation but the truth will come to light eventually.

kids in a car having a wreck and some idiot in a fighter flying into a EP-3 and almost killing 24 people besides his stupid self are hardley 2 things that can be compared in any moral way....both were cases of neglegence and stupidity, but thats where the similarity ends...

Besides there were several instances and complaints about this individual pilot and nothing was done either by himself or the other idiots that told this idiot his orders...and like I said.. it bit him in the ass.

The chinese pilot was obviously a malicious killer on a spree! I hate the idea that the US is blameless for this incident. The Chinese fighter pilot felt he was right, he did HIS duty. G Bush would rather sacrifice the American crew rather than apologise. What a knobend.

BTW did you hear that there was some "citizen" there speaking out about the accident saying it was the Chinese's fault and he was..as they call it "detained"

No matter where it happened a little plane flying by a known hotdog idiot who has already had complaints about him slamming into a much larger plane it is obvious who's fault it is.  The only good side to it ive seen so far is that at least the world is being reminded what a big lieing pile of toejam Chana can be.

I am going try to positively move this thread in a different direction.

The gravity of what has happened over in China can't be fully understood unless you understand what has happened before in our recent past. This may be brand new to some but very simalar to what happened to the "USS Pueblo-(AGER-2)" that was captured and taken to Wanson Harbor in North Korea. This incident happened about 35 years ago. I was a CT on active duty at the time of the "Liberty" and the "Pueblo" incidents. These servicemen (and servicewomen in the most recent case) because of the sensitivity of there mission are often left high and dry because of bigger national political concerns. If you have worn a uniform and served you undoubtedly understand what I am saying. If you have been a CT or similar rating in the Marines,Air Force or Army you know first hand what I am saying. Those that have not please try and understand what the people on the ground may be going though. There is a lot more that is going on then just a forced landing here. The reporting and focus of press is not always reality.

For any that are interested there is a good websight that is online by veterns that know. Its informative if you don't know much about what I am talking about.

I don't think that this thread was ment to be a mockery of the crew on the ground. I have been overly sensitive and concerned about the crew and there safety. I was in the same watch section with a brother of a "Pueblo" crewmen and we listened to it first hand. I relive his agony every time I listen to the news nowdays. Hell, that was a long time ago. If you are reading this I hope things are going well for you.
