Excellent shooting platform for a young-un.  It's sometimes hard to train woman shooters I find to "lean" or "get into" the shot as they say.  If she isn't blinking when she shoots to boot, she'll look like a real pro.  Good work to you and your daughter!

Man, I wish I could shoot in my backyard. That's cool.

Is that a road in the background?

No it's a field and then more and more fields. We were visiting family in South Texas.

Is that a 10/22 with a VLTOR stock and a holo sight? The sight would be cool for squirrell hunting but the collapsible stock is a little bit of over kill.

I love my surpressed .22. It can use .22 shorts, all you hear is the action cycle when you fire shorts with it; great for squirrell or rabbit hunting.  You can't beat the cost of a .22 when you just want to shoot for the fun of shooting.
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

Yeah that's a 10/22 and I believe you are right about the other things as well. It belonged to my brother-in-law and agree it was over done but still fun to shoot. We have no use for an assault rifle, can, or full auto weapon but never turn down the opportunity to shoot one. :D

I love the 10/22 but just for the heck of it would love one of these: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Category4_750001_750051_757786_-1_757784_757784_image

Not a bad price and looks fun to shoot.

Very nice. It actually sounds like a gas powered airsoft rifle with blowback. Nastier sting though. It would take more than a facemask to stop a .22LR. Couldn't shoot in my backyard though. It's only about 30 feet long. Ricocheting bullets landing in the neighbours' gardens is considered a bad thing around here!

I don't turn down shooting someone else's full auto either. After all it is their money. :D

As for the suppressor...I want one but only when they become legal to hunt with here in Alabama will I break down and get one. There is a serious push on by many hunters and shops here in Alabama to make them legal for hunting like they are out in Arizona. Simply because of the hearing loss prevention; hell with all the medical issues we might be able to get it pushed through.

They are fun to shoot I have a buddy that has one and he really likes it and you can put a slide fire stock on it as well.
