Blue Bell Ice Cream
« on: August 11, 2012, 06:20:10 PM »
Took the family to Cabela's in Dundee earlier today and across the road was a place that had Blue Bell Ice Cream.   I had a single scoop of Pistachio Almond and all I can say is that scoop was the best ice cream I have ever had.

I wish up here they had more places that served it.

Legend has it that Sunbat Muppet once pushed down two old ladies to get a half scoop of vanilla some little girl had dropped from her cone.

Seriously, guy loves blue bell. And for good reason, stuff is amazin'.

Legends grow fast.  That only happened a few weeks ago.  I told Sunbat he is a jerk and he told me I never tasted blue bell before.

If you ever pass through Brenham, Texas go by the Blue Bell factory. They will give you samples that just came off the line.

This is a trip I take the kids on twice a year.  It's a peaceful drive in the country and the tour is actually mre interesting  than you may think.  I guess in Texas we are spoiled that we can just go to the store and pick up a gallon or two   :banana
