LOL No I'm not making that assumption. I was a bish at one time and some of the best missions we flew were the Ju87 missions with early war ac as fighter escort. I do think this idea is a game changer and a beneficial one at that. Any large squad can horde with 51ds and 38ls with other fighters mixed in. Imagine the level of difficulty increasing though if ya up late war ac against mid war ac. I know that a lot of squads would welcome the challenge. If they won again imagine the motivation they would have to win with early war AC to get free perk rides on the next map. I mean wow what a side balancer this idea would be
OH and von color your kolaid negitve Nancy trools any way you want to, I still like the idea
Just because you like an idea does not mean that it is a good one, nor does it mean that I am being negative because I do not like it.
You extol all the benefits of a change like this but you do not address any of the negatives of it. A good salesman would do both. Your pitch lacks realism. Are we all supposed to believe that your idea is so awesome in nature that there are not any drawbacks associated with it? A good salesman knows the strengths and weaknesses of his product.
What you idea tells me is that I can, at any given time, log on to a map where my plane set is limited due to the actions or tactics of others that have been playing throughout the day, before I get home from work and have a chance to play. In essence, the type of aircraft available to me at any given time is possibly hamstrung dependent upon how others have chosen to play while I was not logged on and through none of my own actions. In addition, if I have already switched sides within the past 12 hours, I am stuck with one particular chess-piece. Basically I have to "ride it out" until my 12 hours is up or the map is won, etc.
In what way does this benefit game-play? Once again, it would only be a tool used to dictate the playing style of paying subscribers.
