WTB GTX 560 or Radeon 6870

Place your price, although note, if you're over $150, I probably won't settle on it.

  the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

are you selling or buying one?  because if you are buying the radeion 6870 check this out.

as for the gtx 560 look at this.

when it comes to video cards be carefull gtx 560 sounds like a good video card.  but the gtx 560 ti is a way better card for only 100 bucks more.  I would rather save my money and but a better vc later than spend it now on a lower quality card.  then again it's your choice.

Going out on a limb here, but it sounds like he's looking to buy one.  OP stated $150 is his limit.

WTB = Wanting to Buy.

I already looked at Newegg and Amazon, Amazon is selling a used 6870 branded as "Like New" for $140. I figured I could strike up a better deal here.

I thought wtb was the name of vc.   can't keep up with codes for components.   However you would only save 20 bucks versus a new one with a warranty.  but it's your call.

If you purchase a used XFX card they allow the transfer of warranties on most of their cards.  If it is a lifetime warranty card then does not matter who bought or owns it

Why would you ask about Nvidia Card and a Radeon Card? Wouldnt the usage of either card depend on which chipset/motherboard combination you choose? AMD vs Intel? Asking for educational purposes not to poke.

not anymore...the older nforce (4 and 5 series) chipsets used to sporadically have a problem when you popped an ati card into the mobo and it depended on the mfg, bios revision and what other chipsets were on the board.
