Generally speaking, the three arrows from the base into the middle.  Must be this tank town lacks that. So they up from the base and drive out? Same thing really, all the gv's wait for someone else to defend. At least that has been my experience in the time I have seen a gv "battle" ended by base taking. A bunch camped in good locations awaiting rescue.

Frustrating yes, uncommon no.  I remember when we had that map with furball lake and during the night one team captured all the bases.... the next day a group of knits and bish gathered in a massive raid to help each other capture it's respective base back... after the knits got their base back they helped the bish get theirs back.... good times!

As a base taker and not a furballer it makes no difference to me who owns TT.

However because a lot of people Love TT, I tend not to capture those bases.  Last week we did without thinking about the needs of others and afterward I got some PMs from some sad players.  I ended up asking the friendlies that upp'd to defend the TT airfield that we took to lay off the goons please.  The opposing team was able to recapture without having to take the town down again, which is good because Top Gun took it upon themselves to liberate the field and we all know how proficient those guys are at dropping bombs.
