Tomorrow, if the logistics go well, Tiny Shida will be moved from the Intensive Care Unit in Amsterdam to our local hospital's High Care Unit & Mrs. Shida and I can move back to our home. The little fella is doing great, topped 1750 grammes and is full of beans. We will miss all of the staff here but are pleased he no longer needs Intensive Care.

Thank you, all of you kind people, who have supported us and sent good wishes and prayers, here is a recent picture of the little man at the core of it all:-

A happy ending to this episode!

Man my mom was crying to take me to get my senior pictures done last year.  Wasn't that bad for college lol.

Thank you all. He's safe in the High Care Unit now. We were warned that the journey would take it out of him, and that he might have to go on the respirator again.  I put him in the portable incubator, mostly he was just looking around as if to say: 'this is new'. It even had a sort of seat belt. The Bambulance was a Chevy

The journey didn't phase him, just took it in his stride. Apparently he cried for about ten seconds on the journey until he heard his mother's voice.

So glad to hear he is home. Nice to see that there are still good things happening to folks. Makes you stop and think about all the small miracles that happen all around us and we never notice. Thanks for sharing all of this with us and once again I am so glad the little guy is alright.!

Great news shida! I hate to tell you this but he looks like a 38 pilot in the works!!! :aok
When I die bury me in a P38.

I watch day after day, week after week, tour after tour, the Bishops and Rooks take bases and win maps while the Knights stand there with their thumbs stuck in their butts. It's just pathetic!

You know Pawz, I had that same idea a few weeks ago so tested it out by making a yoke out of my hand. He grabbed it and smirked straight away  :lol

Sorry for the feeding tube. I know those kind of things can be a bit unpleasant to see.
