AH Podcast

Anyone know of one?  Been looking but haven't seen anything out there...

If World of Warcraft and EVE have them, then by the gods so should AH!  Well...yes...there is the fact that there are like 5 gazillion people that play those games....I'll grant you that....but I still think it would be a blast.

Think of all the regular features you could cover, like:

"The AH Whine of the Week"
"I HO, U HO, WE ALL HO"
"Why <Spit, Pony, Dora, LA, etc etc> Rides are for <Sissies, Dweebs, Macho Men, etc>..."
"200 Ediquette Tips"
"Making Friends and Meeting Folks in AH - Featuring MANAWAR and Midway!"

Clearly you've never been in the military, so thanks for volunteering!  We'll give you two weeks.

Nope, nothing like a podcast, except for maybe a few videos of the QnAs at the AH conventions or Fugitive's semi-regular AH commic strip.  We're a pretty small community as MMOGs go and AH is a small company with only a few employees on the books, so something like a podcast would be only viable if it was generated by the community for the community (and this community is pretty low-tech, a majority don't even use the BBS, so you're talking a niche for a niche).

That is actually a pretty genius idea!
maybe have the special "con edition" in convention times.
but in the every week (or once every 2 weeks) podcast could be made by some (5?) players and members of the community and the features you covered seem really cool too wow... perhaps a link on the front page on this week's aces high podcast? acecast?

i guess something like web cam i guess-talk to people about about game in real time.something like that i think.not really sure.only use puter to play ah--and order stuff from amazon.

Too bad.   While I would love to do a podcast about the glorious social interactiion found on AH I really don't have the time given all my time is taken up   and  .

In Air Warriors we had a monthly "news letter" called "Furball" you could subscribe to. It had interviews with some of the more well known players, tips from the aces on fighting, I think it even did a bio on a plane in each one. History, load outs, fighting with it and so on. It was a fun little magazine, I couldn't wait for my copy each month.

Mostly public companies do the podcasts.  Eve is public.  AH is not.

Well most of the podcasts I see out there for Eve or WoW are community-created......not by the company itself. 

So now we just need to sucker....ah...um...I mean..."convince" some fine member of our community to start one!
