 While I have a great fiber optic connection I still only have a frame rate in the high teens because of my old computer and video card. Most times I will be right on top of another plane and miss him because I think they are long gone from my sights before I ever fire. I will see a plane way out in front or way behind my plane and be getting hit by them because they are way closer than I see and I guess that is the lag. I shoot fine when de-acking or porking a base against stationary targets. I found out a long time ago what you are seeing is not always what your opponent sees.

Your film does not show him kicking rudder, which (going off just your film) would of given him a solution on your left wing resulting in the damage you couldn't possibley of recieved. (Nice rudder-kick-shot RB )

Why would my film not show him with guns on me at any time if he did use rudder for a shot?  

Are you saying it is normal for an opponent to shoot you down without a gun solution shown at any time on your own film?

When he first fired, I was nowhere close to his 12 o'clock, and you can see in the screenshot my wing came off far from where his rounds were heading.

I don't see a similar problem with others and would like to understand why there is such a huge lag issue here.  The same thing has happened with RedBull many other times.  Am confused.

i thought you said you understood it... it doesn't matter what your film shows.. you'd need HIS film to see what he saw.

Lag to me means delay... Which means he has guns on me but I don't get hit till later due the lag/delay.   I don't understand how lag results in shots from someone that did not have a gun solution on my computer/film.  I understand on his film all makes sense, but shouldn't I at least see a gun solution at some point on my film?

no, because film is not that precise. especially looking from other planes.  this is why i brought up collisions earlier. its the same thing.  each guy is in 2 places at once.
