The rearm pads are already a game concession, so the historical arguement doesnt hold much water as far as I'm concerned.

My opposition against rearm pads on Vbases is purely based on gameplay :)

And by the way, the minimum OZ for the Argus 10C of the Fi 156 was 80.

Sure, thats cool, though a lot of objections seem use the historical arguement. I'd be happy to rearm and refuel my IL2 just as much as vulching one thats got a 2 minute wait  :devil. Anything that helps people kill more stuff usually leaves more options to get killed.

If a plane landed at a GV base for real and didn't have enough fuel to get home safely to an airfield, I think they would find it some fuel since it's easier to truck in than a plane is to truck out.  Also I'm sure they could reload machine gun aminishin, we all know they had that laying around.
Sure.  Ok.  If the rearm time is, say, 24 hours while they truck in the fuel sure.

5 Minutes would be more in accordance with the current 1 minute for refuel/rearm at an airfield.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

No.  Why would a GV base stock AV gas and bombs?

AV gas for m-18 and stork?
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

Nope.  Both use just regular 80 octane.

Does Aces model the fuel that the German aircraft were running on during the war, or does it give them the ideal full power and performance of the aircraft's engine as if it had the best fuel available?

The aircraft at the GV base does not use high octane AV gas.  It may very well use the same gas as the jeep does.

Tanks carry 500 and 1000lb bombs now?

No, tanks do not carry 500 and 1000lb bombs now, I never said they did, what I said was that the tank round that are used are stockpiled somewhere on the Vbase. I don't recall if fule is shown anywhere on a Vbase as a stockpiled item. ords are, troops but I don't think fuel is.   Does that mean there is no fuel for the tanks?  Get a grip, it's a game, and Hitech creations is pretty liberal with what it want's or intends.   I thought it might lead to more strat, more things to blow up, add something to the game play.
