for Boring meetings at work
« on: August 29, 2012, 10:14:53 AM »
I found this while organizing my filing cabinet.  We used to play it at work when they forced us to attend boring pointless meetings.  If you print some out and give them to your buddies it helps make the meeting a little less meaningless.

Like any game of bingo, just mark off the words as you hear them said by the speaker.

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

That would have come in handy last week when I was in the mindset to have an employee empowerment meeting to inform the slackers to start creating some win win contracts to help our bottom line or they were going to be cut out of the loop.

(Image removed from quote.)

Granted that no one missed a word, all of the players would win at the same time... collective BS!

I found a life preserver on a test drive and scooped it up.

They called yet another meeting of technicians at the lexus dealership........which is what clueless management does when they are getting heat from above and I wore the life preserver to the meeting.

When they asked me why I was wearing it, I said "so I don't drown".

They read between the lines.......or maybe it was my pants rolled up that added the clue for them to put it together.

I was fired a couple of weeks later regardless of turning a 90 hour week.

Did anyone mention this is a rip-off of a Dilbert comic from years ago, where they passed out sheets for a meeting and called it "Buzzword Bingo"?
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

That one doesn't take it to the next level.

Really, you should reach out to the guy who put that together.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

I wonder if my employees would do this during my meetings?  :headscratch:

Nah, they all LOVE my meetings.  ;)
