250Kg WWII bomb found under Munich bar. I think that's pretty good evidence we need to remodel some ord damage.

Ordnance damage isn't modeled for realism but rather for gameplay balance.

I think it IS modeled for realism, and the damage points/carnage is scaled for balance.

I.e. Blast size, radius, HE content, etc.

+1million for grand slam bombs.  Barnes Wallace was a friggin genius.

Trinity would be appropriate for A-bombs.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Did they mention the amount of modern explosives they used to set that off?

You guys are taking this too serious. Lighten up, I was just amazed at the fireball and damage from a 500lb'er.

Nah, the ordnance are set to a arbitrary scale that HTC has set to their liking.

IMO, the better thing HTC could do is to change the hardness settings on a multitude of structures.  For instance, I would like to believe that a 3ft thick concrete ammo bunker would be more difficult to destroy than a house in a town, yet they are both set to the same exact hardness scale (312 lbs of "damage").

Of all the structures in AH, the concrete ammo bunker should be the one of the most difficult to destroy (2nd only to the shore battery).  The easiest perhaps should be a town building (for the time being lets group all town buildings together, big/small/1 stort/2 story, etc).  I actually think the radar town should be almost immune to FMJ damage due to the extreme difficulty of landing enough hits in one area to create enough structural damage to topple it (for game play I understand why it isn't).  Somewhat easier to destroy than the ammo bunker and radar tower would be the fuel tanks and barracks.  I think it to be boring and too easy to do certain things.
