Books for Pia Matter
« on: August 30, 2012, 11:34:42 AM »
So I bought a few books for getting my Solo / Private Pilots Lic.   Can not even to began describing how much they help cut the "learning curve" down.

My question is on programming the code that makes this game. If I wanted to take the game and change some things within the game and then submit it back to the guys at HTC... Would something like that be frowned upon? What books for writing the code to make the game should I get, mind you I can make a USB boot device and even work at the command line in grub4dos but I have never really done much outside of "poor man fixing" trashed systems for my friends. Any help to get me started in the right direction with learning is greatly appreciated.

You wouldn't be allowed to change anything in the code. There are setting you are allowed to adjust and then run either off line or on a custom arena on the HTC servers.

What i am trying to do is take the ideas I have in my head and instead of suggesting them, just do it myself and then show them too the powers at be for them to do what ever they see fit.

attempting to change the code or even posting about changing the code can get you banned in the game or in the bulletin boards or both.  so dont do it.

that includes asking for books.
