So...there I am .... surveying the Bish front for nasty red guys.... see a few here and there up and engage...the rest is a big cluster of green...fair enough that's their game ..... So I decide to change countries I look at the map and notice red dars all over .... look at the roster ..... hmmmm I know rooks are getting it from bish...but to save any issues I try and forgo attacking the side I just changed from for 30 mins ( just a personal thing) ...I then look at the roster and see knits are vastly low on numbers...big red  dars...low numbers 1+1 didn't equal the 2 I was looking for...boom low numbers but big numbers per field hahahahaha... went from big green dars to big green dars  ....

so now the show is over...I wish....I wish .... that the two opposing sides BarDar had a varying colour to help distinguish numbers so that a person like myself can make a more informed leap cause this just leads onto another wish

You are not the only one that has done this 

One of the reasons I don't switch anymore.

If one made that mistake in the past, it only affected you for an hour...

Its simple if you want to do some fast fighting just go to the DA, always fights to be had in there and always fast and fun. I feel that enemy is the enemy no matter the color and you can separate it because you will than start to attack that country in its weak spots. you will see a pattern on where they are. Just my 2 cents

I want to defend I am a defender...whilst the friendly horde takes bases I'm one of the people that tries to stop my friendly bases being taken so that the land grabs actually mean something...that is what I do ..... not about fast fights ..... those in the DA are sad excuses for fights often anyway..... yes you are right...the enemy is the enemy but when there is none it bores me( yes I know it isn't all about me. I speak for only myself..but know others think the same/similarly to me)  other than that where a huge blob of green is, is not my kettle of fish...I prefer to be surrounded in red( that way when I spray and pray...I get some kills  ) ..... and have a small amount of purpose doing it....that is, be the pain in the butt that thwarts a base take...even if it is short lived...that is my fun....

I agree, it would be nice to be able to set a color for each country.

I like the idea, but I seem to recall HiTech or someone topside being strongly opposed to things that would enable/promote two countries ganging up on one (weather the third-party intended to go to an even fight, or an un-even fight and help the outnumbered defenders/offenders, or sneak the higher/lower numbers field behind them even.... sounds fun to me, but can be seen as unpleasant/ganging to those on the recieving end).
