Engine On/Off Issue
« on: September 01, 2012, 09:49:15 AM »
I have my Ch Fighterstick prorammed thru AH, I can start my engine with the button I have programmed for it but it does not shut engine down. I simply programmed the button to the e key.

I have a Squad Mate with the same issue, I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem. :salute

Is it possible that you might be changing modes and that the button has a different assignment in the second mode?

Are you using CH software to map it or are you mapping it in AH?

My issue was in the 410 when one engine had already shut down due to overheating.
My second engine recieved a rad hit and I couldn't shut it down. I always use the E key and never bind engine on/off to any of my controllers.

Map the button to start/stop engine.  IIRC there are a few commands that can be mistaken for what you are trying to do.  I had the same problem with my X-52, I just had to find the correct command.
