Dot Commands to Give Informaiton

  Here's my wish:  That when you use a dot command by itself, without a value to change the setting, it gives the current setting.

For example:  ".speed 160" sets your climb speed to 160.  ".speed" by itself, tells you what your current climb speed is set to.

While you're at it, add .loadout.  .loadout will tell you what your current load out is.  This would be helpful when you take off, and don't remember what your last load was.  Or if you join a mission, and don't have time to check the missions specs to see what you will be carrying.

2) Hit backspace to see your bombs/rockets/drop tanks

3) Look at your fuel gauge

I don't think its a bad wish... it would have saved me 3 hours of testing every plane in the game to find the default autopilot speed for each when i was making my fuel chart, if i could have just typed .speed instead of taking off and waiting for alt-x to stabilize on an IAS.
 


we got the .dt command and I don't even think anyone ever wished it!

1) Its called E6B

2) Hit backspace to see your bombs/rockets/drop tanks

3) Look at your fuel gauge

  I use the E6B.  I find it very helpful.  But getting all the information about my load out at one shot would also be helpful when starting a sortie, especially if I have just joined a mission.
