Whats the fun of a mission when 40 attack a base being defended by zero? I guess its your $15...
Question:
how come said missions never attack defended bases? If they do its always 20k p51s dive bombing all the hangers into submission.
Guess ill never understand the interest in avoiding combat at all costs.
Defense is one aspect. Sense of achievement is another. Why does that one zero roll in the face of 40? Does he lay his cartoon life for the flag and chess piece country of his choice? Does he simply enjoy the thrill of overcoming phenomenal odds? Is he just too lazy to fly 15 minutes or more to encounter a "fair fight"?
Why does it take 40 P51s dive bombing to get a base capture? Why does it only take one bullet placed at the opportune moment to spoil a base capture?
Yes, there are distinct differences between countries. The most prevalent difference is who can post a mission and have an adequate response (There is a small list for each country).
Yes, I love to furball sometimes. Yes, I like to acquire / defend turf sometimes. Yes, I like to fly off in the distance and make precision hits on targets sometimes. What so many, (I dare say, too many), fail to comprehend is that there is a country at all. To them, there are merely good guys and bad guys. So some countries loose resources, turf and advantages faster than others. The result being, no matter what you prefer to do, if some things don't get done to advance the country then you might as well log off, or get rolled up and hope that your GREAT ENY balancer will level the playing field.
