Availability Based on # of Hangers Down
« on: September 07, 2012, 08:16:34 AM »
I believe this has been wished before, but since HTC has recently broadened the strategic realm a bit perhaps this will grab some attention-

I'll make it easy:

1 Fighter Hanger down = all fighters available.
2 Fighter Hanger down = ENY 15< fighters available

From that point, because of the different sizes of fields, all of the FH's would need to be down to disable fighters at that field.

Do something similar for bombers and gv's.

Bombing hangars removes the enemy from the fight.  Good for taking a base, bad for a game based on combat.

Would rather see fields tougher and towns weaker, to encourage fighting away from the fields.

To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

How about if there is 1 fighter hanger left, you can only launch Brewsters, 109s, Spits, La's and 163s.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

make it 163's 262's tempest and b29's only and count this as my +1.

So what you are asking is...... a Small Field with only 4 hangers, has a pair of noobs with P51s and takes down two hangers, defenders are stuck with crappy planes?

No thanks -1.

HTC should impliment a Wishlist rule that only applys to wishes related to game play mechanics changes. You have to fill out a request form and POST that in full here as your wish for any chance of consideration by HTC.

This is no different than change management processes used in corporations to control unforseen problems introduced into their networks and backend server resources. At BofA we were required to include the projected monitairy loss per every hour down outside of the change window due to unintended consiquences. Every network and server device had a negative revenue calculated loss statement associated to them. Low end was 50K per hour. High end was 1M per hour.

In the case of HTC it would be the low and high ends on customer satisfaction and retention in response to mechanics changes to game play. But, then it wouldn't be fair to make you responsible for guessing on that one.

Hitech Creations Wish Form for Game Play Mechanics Changes

My Wish: _______________________

How it will enhance the game for ALL customers: ____________________________

Five unitended consiquences detrimental to game play, and five ways it will be exploited to the detriment of the customer base:

A. - Unitended Consiquences (5 Required)

B. - Ways to Exploit Wish (5 Required)

Submission as a POST for community support developing A and B is encouraged to assist this process.

Even if this form is filled out in full, that is no guarantee or implied contract HTC will be interested, or make comments in your POST.
