was watching the BSG marathon on bbc america last night. i came in on the final episode where they found earth. they found it before civilized humans though.
as i came into the show, the fleet was dropping out of warp right into orbit over earth. so......imagine with things just as they are right now....today.........a small fleet such as that were to suddenly "appear" in orbit, or even in the upper atmosphere, complete with a battlestar, and its accompanying vipers.
how do you think they would be treated by the various governments of the world? what would be your reaction upon seeing a viper or raptor land in a field near you? bear in mind, that they are making absolutely NO aggressive moves or actions.
